I’m always on the look out for tops that can go from the office to weekend and I think I hit the jackpot with this one. I am obsessed with the sequin on stripe action and can’t wait to see it in person. Jcrew offers it in a navy or grey and I decided to go navy. It seemed to have a little more presence and wow factor than the (almost washed out) grey. This will def be a workhorse piece and I can see myself wearing this with jeans, wool work slacks and skirts – so basically with anything. I think it could look really amazing with some cropped khakis too! The description says that it hits at the hip so I may have to belt it to make it work on my figure. Jcrew is offering 30% off of their final sale and I couldn’t resist. I was actually going to scoop up some of their Perfect Fit tees last night, but I held off because I wanted to wait for a sale. The shopping gods must have been listening because this morning I was happy to find a 30% off code waiting for me in my inbox. I ended up getting three t-shirts in white, grey and a dark grey stripe. With the 30% code and shipping, my total ended up being $56.
I love the Perfect Fit at Jcrew. It’s super flattering and is great for a curvy girl. A lot times tees are cut too straight and don’t look right or they hug the wrong places. The Perfect Fit tees are cut just right. I love wearing them and they are great layering pieces.
I have this tee in the navy stripe and I wear it all of the time. It has a great nautical feel and is super versatile. I wear it with black work pants during the week and with dark jeans and khakis on the weekends. I’m really excited to get it in the grey and white below too. The burnished copper buttons on the shoulders is a fun detail that elevates it from a regular tee and adds an additional nautical touch.
